CSI and PTI Sponsor the DAYL Happy Hour Benefiting Animal Abuse Awareness

Dallas, TX, April 17, 2008 CSI and PTI sponsored a happy hour for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) at Campisi’s Restaurant in downtown Dallas. During the event, a silent auction was held on behalf of Operation Kindness, a local no-kill animal abuse awareness program. Proceeds totaling over $7,000 were raised and will benefit “The Mercy Fund for Abused and Neglected Animals”. This event also coincided with Animal Cruelty Prevention Month and the two year anniversary (death) of Mercy’s passing. The Mercy Fund was launched in memory of Mercy, the pit bull who was stabbed and burned on Good Friday, April 14, 2006. Operation Kindness has launched a Cruelty Awareness Program to enlighten the public about animal cruelty and to educate individuals about animal abuse.
